By accessing or using our website  www.squadbid.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).

1. Definitions

  • “User,” “you,” or “your” refers to anyone using the Website or placing orders.

  • “Squad Leader” refers to a verified individual responsible for distributing bulk orders to nearby users.

  • “Products” refers to groceries, vegetables, and other items offered through the SquadBid platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into binding contracts under applicable law to use our Services.

3. Use of Website

  • You agree to use the Website lawfully, ethically, and for personal, non-commercial purposes.

  • You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials.

  • We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if any misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms is detected.

  • SquadBid may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or content at any time without notice.

4. Placing an Order

  • Orders must be placed through the official Website or mobile app (if applicable).

  • You will receive an order confirmation email upon successful placement.

  • Product availability, weights, and prices are estimates and may vary at final delivery.

  • Minimum order value: £10.

  • Orders are grouped and fulfilled via your assigned Squad Leader.

5. Pricing and Payments

  • Prices displayed on the Website are guide prices and may vary based on weight or supplier costs.

  • Final prices will be confirmed during packing or delivery.

  • Payments must be completed through approved payment methods before delivery.

  • Any pricing errors may be corrected by SquadBid without prior notice.

6. Amendments or Cancellations

  • Once submitted, orders cannot be amended or canceled.

  • Refunds or compensation are not applicable for user errors or change of mind.

  • In the event of stock unavailability or logistic constraints, SquadBid reserves the right to modify or cancel an order with notice and full refund.

7. Collection and Delivery

  • Products will be delivered to your Squad Leader’s pickup hub.

  • Collection times may vary; users will be notified via email or app.

  • Please collect your order within the specified time frame to ensure freshness.

  • Failure to collect on time may result in product disposal or additional storage fees.

8. Subscription and Fees

  • SquadBid may introduce a subscription plan in the future to cover administrative and operational costs.

  • The platform is currently free to use during the pilot phase.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including logos, text, graphics, and software — is the property of SquadBid Ltd and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute content without prior written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SquadBid shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses;

  • Delays or failures beyond our reasonable control;

  • Product variations, supplier delays, or local disruptions.

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or transportation disruptions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
